Using A few key quality and trendy clothes I can say I successfully accomplished the $30 Outfit Challenge. I chose to buy a couple clothing items (instead of a bunch of cheaper clothes) one of them being more of a statement piece i.e: Floral Kimono which is definitely a fun trend to rock this summer.
Tip 1 Peep the Deets
Try to find pieces that feature interesting details. For example, I have a minimal and simple bodycon dress but the T-Strap neckline makes it more interesting. The smallest details can make the biggest difference.Tip 2 Pair Wisely
When looking to put together an outfit that works with more than one layer, pair something fitted to balance out the looser fitting layers.Tip 3 Quality Over Quantity
Use one clothing item as your statement piece. For example, My bright floral kimono compliments my neutral colored semi causal dress. It provides just enough excitement without being overwhelming.Tip 4 Accessorize Strategically
When your outfit is simple or minimal it is quite easy and very important to step it up with accessories. Depending on the style of jewelry it can make your whole ensemble appear more expensive than it actually is. I chose to keep it simple using a dainty, rose gold, and Indian inspired hand jewelry. But feel free to rock more of a bold adornment if that is what suits your personality.Outfit Details:
