Natural Brow Tutorial: How To Fill In Eyebrows

Achieving a Natural Looking Brow can actually be quite easy with practice. In this video tutorial, I will show step by step how I achieve a polished look simply by filling them in with one product.

Step 1

Clean Up Eyebrows: Whether you choose to get your eyebrows professionally done, threaded, waxed, or tweeze them well yourself this is the most important step toward having good results. It provides the framework or guideline to create the perfect brow for your own unique beauty. If you try to fill in your eyebrows when they are unkept or lacking in shape, filling them in can make them appear messy.

Step 2

Begin filling in your Eyebrows: I know your reading this and thinking did she seriously just sate the obvious? For many filling in eyebrows properly is an acquired skill and takes practice. There are also a myriad of newbies just learning to do makeup and need a good place to start. Even as an experienced beauty enthusiast, it never hurts to brush up on your basics. Begin with filling in ONLY the missing or thin looking spots in your eyebrows. Use a little bit at a time because you can always add more later. Just doing this can make a world of difference in your eyebrows. Once you are satisfied with the appearance in thickness go ahead and start drawing a thin line  (EXTREMELY THIN) outlining the shape that you want your eyebrows to be. A good demonstration of how to do this can be found in the video above. It can be done with smaller strokes if you are just beginning. Another important technique to apply during this step is to constantly blend the powder or pencil with a spoolie brush, little by little each time you add more makeup. This is key to ensure that your brows have a more gradient and (yes I am going to say it again) a natural and effortless look.

Step 3 (Optional)

Conceal and Set: This third step is completely optional but if you want the most clean and polished look possible this step is essential. Simply put a thin layer of concealer on the brow bone that is about one to two shades lighter than your actual complexion. After you've blended the concealer to make it appear seamless you can set it with a translucent powder. It will give your brow a nice highlight. Use a concealer that matches your complexion exactly above your brow and set with a powder that matches the concealer as well.

That's it, those are my three basic steps on how to achieve a natural looking brow just by filling them in. If this information helped you even just a little please share this post and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more.
